Work Experience
DevOps And Infrastructure Manager
Was promoted to new role with responsibilities that included maintaining Qnect’s various AWS services, developing new engineering tools, and ensuring continuous integration of compiled and interpreted code for QA with services like Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
Lead the development of transitioning all of Qnect’s codebase from using standard RDS MySql instances to an Aurora database cluster. This project included coordinating several teams over multiple continents as well as planning the sizing, transition maintenance, and scaling policies that would govern the cluster.
Developed new tools with frontend developers to improve compilation and deployment process for Qnect’s C# based windows client
Handled various responsibilities including database optimizations, production triage, Jira administration, evolving Qnect’s docker implementation, and defining development workflow requirements like code review and testing procedure for engineering related code.
Software Engineer
Beginning as an intern, was hired to continue developing Qnect’s unique steel structure optimization software. Projects typically consisted of C++ development and focused on improving SQL related functions and creating a new object structure that was responsible for getting various unit system dependent engineering constants.
Improved user experience and scalability of Qnect’s engineering regression tools by overseeing a rewrite of its core data handling and comparison tools.
Assisted infrastructure manager with various DevOps responsibilities such as maintaining pull requests for various git repositories, building bi-weekly testing branches for QA, and handling migrations to Qnect’s production server when the infrastructure manager was not available.
ACCOUNT MANAGER ASSISTANT
Beginning as a student IT Support Specialist, was promoted to work directly with the IT department’s account managers handling sensitive user data requests for students and faculty.

Community Building
Founded a gaming community for the Action MMO Destiny 2 that has since grown to 80+ members and now serves as a community hub for several games. Additionally, I was previously on the moderation team for the Partnered /r/DestinyTheGame discord server that was home to 70,000+ users at the time.
